When hiring for entry-level positions, employers favor college grads who went to top public schools over Ivy League and liberal arts schools, according to a survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal.
The Journal, which surveyed 479 of the largest public and private companies, nonprofits and government agencies, found that Texas A&M University in College Station ranked No. 2 in the nation when it came to hiring preferences, led only by Pennsylvania State University.
